Jordan Beckerman began his film career as an entertainment lawyer before ultimately transitioning to producing full time in 2017. Immediately after graduating from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City, he began serving as legal counsel to independent film producers and film productions. Beckerman first began working with Jordan Yale Levine and Yale Productions in this capacity. In 2017 when Jordan and Jordan produced their first feature film together, “After Everything” starring Jeremy Allen White, Maika Monroe, Joe Keery and Marisa Tomei, which would go on to premiere at the following year’s SWSW Film Festival. Beckerman left his law practice and joined Yale Productions full time, as a partner and producer on all of the company’s films. He brings his extensive business and legal background and love of independent filmmaking to Yale Productions, and the company has seen tremendous growth since Jordan and Jordan joined forces.
